Out of nowhere, a new survival-horror game clearly inspired by classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill hit the PlayStation Store for PS4. Dawn of Fear has the tank controls and fixed camera angles fans remember from the PS1-era Resident Evil games, and it also has its fair share of horrific monstrosities for players to contend with as well.
Beyond the standard zombies and other enemies that Dawn of Fear players will bump into during their time with the game, there's also some boss fights. The first boss players encounter is a huge beast that appears to be made up of dead peoples' body parts. It can kill the Dawn of Fear protagonist pretty easily, but there is a way to make the fight much easier. As long as players go into the battle with sufficient supplies and a good strategy, they should be able to come out the other end unscathed.

The red hallway that leads to the first Dawn of Fear boss has some pistol ammunition sitting the corner, along with a first aid kit down the stairs. Collect both of these and make sure the pistol is fully loaded. Just outside the boss door is a skeleton sitting in a wheelchair, clutching a shotgun. Grab the shotgun and then head into the room with the boss.

The Dawn of Fear boss will wake up after walking into its pit. Collect the shotgun ammo on the ground and run around it in a circle. Like in a classic Resident Evil game, players can't move and shoot in Dawn of Fear, so they will want to make sure there's good distance between themselves and the monster.
Position the Dawn of Fear boss so that it's standing in in front of the door in his pit. Shoot it a few times and it should be stunned. Since the pistol shoots faster, we recommend using that over the shotgun if possible, but either weapon will do. When it's stunned, interact with the machine next to the door to call in a container. The container should bump into the boss, which will damage it. It doesn't have to be exact as the boss's hit box is all over the place, but try to get it as close as possible to make sure it registers.
Simply repeat this process three times to defeat the Dawn of Fear boss. It's not the most terrifying survival-horror enemy ever, but it can still kill the player fairly quickly, so put it down as soon as possible.

How to Beat the First Boss in Dawn of Fear

The new Season 3 trailer for Netflix's Castlevania series is here, and it looks just as amazing as the previous 2 seasons. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the next drop of Castlevania episodes since the series first launched in 2017, and again when Season 2 released in 2018.
The new two-minute trailer looks to continue the flashy, violent, and emotional fights between the monstrous world of Dracula and characters like Trevor Belmont and Sypha. Fans won't have to wait much longer to see where the show will go next, as Season 3 will premier on Netflix on March 5, 2020.

Some of the story elements thus far have been influenced by Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse, with heavy religious and political backdrops. Dracula himself is perhaps the best TV adaptation of the vampire yet, as he is a wonderful balance of powerful and imposing, yet vulnerable and somehow relateable.

The art-style of the Castlevania series is heavily influenced by Japanese anime, which may be thanks to games like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, a game that many regard as the best in the seriesSymphony of the Night used an art style known as bishōnen-style art. It was the first game of the series to use the style and many games following Symphony of the Night used it as well. Bishōnen-style art is Japanese and loosely translates to beautiful youth (boy). A lot of Japenese anime has roots in bishōnen-style art, so the links are strong with the Netflix Castlevania series and the 1997 Symphony of the Night.
Netflix is on a roll recently, as it has made multiple large announcements just over the past couple of weeks, including the fact that eight episodes are on the way for a Resident Evil series in 2021. Video game adaptations on the big screen have often fallen short, whether financially or critically, so switching things up and using Netflix instead is a welcome change of pace.
The success of Castlevania proves that a Netflix adaptation of a video game series may be the best way to creatively expand on a franchise. The recent Sonic movie seems to have had some critical triumph, however, but with a massive track record against video game successes at the box office, that seems to be more of an anomaly than anything.

Castlevania Season 3 Trailer: Evil Never Stays Buried

Releasing on Valentine's Day, the Sonic the Hedgehog movie has already received a great reaction from critics and consumers alike. Its Rotten Tomatoes score has eclipsed some of the biggest blockbusters of last year - including Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalkerand its director has already hinted that the future is bright for Sega's iconic mascot. Yet, before fans look forward, there's still a lot of secrets still to be discovered in the first live-action Sonic the Hedgehog adaptation.
As Ben Schwartz revealed in a recent interview, one of these secrets just so happens to be a fairly well-hidden reference to Nintendo's incredibly popular Super Smash Bros. series. While many would no doubt hope that means Mario and a number of his friends have a subtle cameo in the film, the Easter egg is actually much less noticeable, likely eluding fans who weren't looking hard enough.

According to Schwartz, one of Sonic's idle animations from the series makes a short cameo in the Sonic the Hedgehog film, with the voice actor claiming that one of the specific poses he pulls in the movie is directly sourced from the iconic fighting franchise. Alongside that, Schwartz also reveals that the animation Sonic uses when teetering over the edge of a platform is also featured in the movie, alongside a number of subtle Jim Carrey references that allude to the actor's long and storied career.

As big fans of the series will know, Sonic has been a staple of the Super Smash Bros. franchise since Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii. Not only does his speed make him one of the more formidable fighters on the roster, but his arrival on the roster also introduced the Green Hill Zone stage, which has gone on to become one of the series' best to date. While the reference is evidently quite small, seeing any sort of recognition of Sonic's inclusion in the Smash Bros. series is a clear testament to the team behind Sonic the Hedgehog's passion and love for the character.
While the film no doubt had a rocky start when its notoriously panned first character design for Sonic was revealed to the public, Sonic the Hedgehog has already been hailed as one of the best-received film adaptations of a video game property to date. With subtle easter eggs like Sonic's iconic poses from various games included, it's not hard to see why, with the game's intricate knowledge of Sonic's iconic legacy shining throughout.

Along with the update 1.16 on February 12th, The Division 2 added some in-game bonuses for everyone who preordered the DLC. The bonuses are included only if players preorder before April 3, and it includes a level 40 shotgun, an NYC police uniform outfit, and a level 30 boost. But when access to the preorder bonuses went live on the 12th, some players had a hard time figuring out how to get the level 30 boost to work.

The Level 30 Boost

In the upcoming expansion DLC Warlords of New York, the level cap will rise to level 40. The boost will bring new or old characters up to the current level cap to help them catch up. This level boost will help players who are moving consoles, getting the game for the first time, or just want to start over without having to grind levels before the DLC drops.

With the game nearly free right now, the Division 2 is only about $3 on all consoles and PC, there will be a ton of new players who will find this boost helpful.

How to Get the Boost

Getting the boost on a character is not exactly intuitive. The instructions are a little ambiguous, but there are two ways to boost a character to 30. If a character already exists in the game, players will need to boost their character from the store. First, open The Division 2 on whatever system that the DLC has been purchased for. Next, go to the in-game store, and look at the content purchased for the game– it will look slightly different depending on what system players are using. If players have preordered the DLC, there should be a boost button for existing characters there.
If players want to start a new character to get ready for all the changes coming to The Division 2's New York, they can do that as well, but they'll have to put in a little more legwork. First, create a new character. Second, players will have to complete the prologue, unlock the base of operations, unlock their first skill, and only then can the character can be boosted. New characters will not have access to the boost until those steps are done.
Remember, if the upcoming Warlords of New York DLC has not been purchased yet, players will not have access to the boost.

A new Borderlands 3 event has begun that has players diving back into the game in order to earn rewards by completing event challenges, much like the previous Bloody Harvest event. This time around players can opt-out of the event if they wish to not participate in it but they would be missing out on a pretty powerful Maliwan SMG, the Polyaimorous.
With the Broken Hearts Day event going live in Borderlands 3, players will begin to see hearts at random that will fly around the map. Destroying these floating hearts can potentially spawn Loot Ghosts, much like from the Bloody Harvest event, that have a greater chance of dropping legendary loot.
These hearts are tied to challenges that will eventually lead the player to unlock the Polyaimorous SMG in Borderlands 3 when they destroy 50 hearts. It may take a bit of time but once the 50 hearts are destroyed as part of the Broken Hearts Day event in Borderlands 3, the player will receive the Polyaimorous along with other free rewards in their mailbox.

The Polyaimorous is a Maliwan branded SMG in Borderlands 3 that can switch between the shock and incendiary element, and it will drop at the new max level cap which is 53.
In terms of what the gun actually does, when shooting an enemy the beam chains either the shock or incendiary damage to other nearby enemies, which can be great for clearing out multiple enemies at once. Players must watch out though as when they begin a damage chain on enemies, the chain will not link to new enemies that may spawn in. As a tip, from time to time the player should stop shooting and restart the chain in order to max out the effectiveness of the weapon.
The Polyaimorous in Borderlands 3 may struggle a bit with the chaining inconsistencies but the gun pretty much melts enemies even on Mayhem 4 difficulty. Overall, the weapon is a pretty solid choice for players that like Maliwan weapons and should be earned along with the other event rewards before the Broken Hearts Day event and challenges go away

The PlayStation 4 exclusive Dreams has a lot of gamers' imaginations flying. Players have been grabbing up trophies as they recreate famous shows and movies (like Bob's Burgers) with Dreams' massively library of creation tools. This unique open concept game has several trophies that players can aim for but one of the easy ones to miss is the Sassy Kitty Trophy.

Dreams Trophies

To get the platinum trophy for Dreams, players will need to earn 22 bronze trophies, 12 silver, and 4 gold. The trophies in Dreams are earned by completing challenges like The Welcome Home Quest and creating and sharing levels in the game. Players can also earn trophies by decorating their home space and leveling up; many of the trophies are pretty straightforward and easy to earn. But there is one weird-looking trophy called the Sassy Kitty Trophy, and it might not be obvious exactly how to nab it.

The Sassy Kitty Trophy

The Sassy Kitty Trophy is both a trophy and an Imp Quest, similar to the Complete the Dream Quest. An Imp Quest is a mission that players can complete to get XP and unlock usable items. Players will earn trophies for leveling up their ranks in the different types of imp quests and completing imp quests.
To start filling out the complete trophy list for Dreams by grabbing the Sassy Kitty Trophy, players will have to first go into their Gadgets menu. Select Gameplay Gear in Create Mode. After that, place a puppet into Create Mode. Then tweak it (the tweak menu is opened with L1 and Square). Go to the third tab in the tweak menu, which is labelled "Upper Body Movement." The third slider from the top has a flame icon on it. Push that flame slider all the way up to 100%, giving the puppet full sassyness.
And that's all players have to do to grab the Sassy Kitty Trophy. Now they are one closer to earning that sweet platinum trophy for Dreams. Filling out that trophy list will give players something to do while they wait for the VR version of Dreams to come out.

Other Trophies

If players are looking for help with any of the other trophies, this video has the full list of trophies for Dreams to help players get that platinum.

Dreams: How to Max Out Sassyness

Borderlands 3 players know that there are many top tier weapons scattered throughout the game. At the same time, other unique guns are hidden throughout different areas with special properties that make them just as viable in a different way. One of these weapons is the Facepuncher, which is a dream come true for a player wanting to bring a fist to a gunfight.
The Facepuncher is a legendary shotgun created by the Hyperion company. This shotgun has a special effect, "Make your own jackhammer," which causes the weapon to deal melee damage and increases the power of melees. As a result, anything normally immune to melee attacks such as vehicles will take no damage from the Facepuncher, and since melee hits can't crit, neither can the shots. Additionally, the shotgun's damage, compared to the best and worst competition, is based on the character's melee power and divided equally between all shots scattered. The Facepuncher is a world drop that can normally be obtained anywhere. However, there is one spawn in-game that has an increased drop rate for the shotgun.

Handsome Jackie

Handsome Jackie is a mini-boss that has a better chance to drop the Facepuncher. Jackie is also the criteria of the "Target of Opportunity" challenge that can be done while farming for the Facepuncher. She is located on Promethea at Skywell-27. Players will need to travel to the planet and make their way to her location at the Observation Deck directly below. Be aware that Handsome Jackie may not drop the Facepuncher after her first defeat, so be prepared to wait around for several respawns and attempts. Once a golden glow appears after she goes down, players can move over and inspect their new Facepuncher shotgun. Jackie may need to be farmed even further, similar to other legendary weapons, for the perfect Facepuncher stats that fit a particular Vault Hunter's playstyle.

Synergy and Playstyle

Because of the Facepuncher's special properties, it benefits from Eridian artifacts and skills that enhance melee attacks. As Joltzdude139 points out on YouTube, White Elephant and Unleash the Dragon are great customization choices that turn Facepuncher rounds into sticky bomb-delivering shots or immolating strikes. Note that the sticky bomb explosions can critically strike, circumventing the shotgun's inability to normally crit. Because the Facepuncher is effectively a melee attack, players will have to commit to a close or medium-range playstyle that stays just outside of the enemy's reach. It may take a while to get used to the shotgun's strengths, but Borderlands 3 foes will never be prepared for the knockout punch.

A new season has begun for Fortnite players bringing some new changes and features to the battle royale. Compared to previous additions in the first season of Chapter 2, Epic Games has stayed away from extensively modifying the map with today's release. Of course, with the arrival of Chapter 2, Season 2 comes a new battle pass and weekly challenges to get players off to an XP-filled start.
This morning's update provides the first set of tasks based off the new spy theme. From a new challenge table, players can scan the details of currently available challenges and their location on the in-game map. These challenges are not locked and can be completed in any order, but one of the first that players should do is a simple task of landing at three locations: Apres Ski, Lockie's Lighthouse, and Mount Kay which are located at opposite corners of the map.

Apres Ski Location

Apres Ski is a ski lodge and the southernmost landmark that players need to land at. The area is located to the southwest of Misty Meadows, a popular area for previous weekly challenges, to the right of a snow-covered hill. For players still unsure of where to land, there is a neon "DANCE" sign on the front of the building and several spotlights illuminating the lodge during day and night.

Lockie's Lighthouse Location

Players can find Lockie's Lighthouse in the northwest corner of the map. The lighthouse is situated far northwest of Pleasant Park and directly east of one new point-of-interest, The Shark. Already visible when dropping from the battle bus, gliding over to this area is perhaps the easiest part of the challenge. Note that players don't have to land directly on the lighthouse, sticking the landing anywhere nearby will give credit. If players do drop directly on Lockie's Lighthouse, they must jump wisely to prevent becoming a pancake below.

Mount Kay Location

The final place where the Fortnite challenge requires landing at is Mount Kay. The mountain is the other landmark located in the southern part of the map, far east of Misty Meadows and the Apres Ski lodge. Dropping anywhere on the slope or small station set up near the peak should give credit, but players who don't want to take any chances should attempt their landing at Mount Kay's peak where an orange flag is planted.

Once players have successfully landed at all three locations, they will receive a massive boost of XP to help earn some good-looking skins. Note that since credit is only given upon landing, it will take a minimum of three games to drop at Apres Ski, Lockie's Lighthouse, and Mount Kay.

GTA Online is an expansive online game with tons of constantly updating events and challenges. Players can do everything from buying their own arcade GTA Online to planning a casino heist. This open world has done a little of everything, and now a casino has finally arrived so players can blow all of that heist money on. The casino features a wheel that players can spin to get their very own F-1 inspired vehicle, and there's some tips and tricks that players can use to help their chances to grab one.

The Car

While there are many prizes on the wheel that players can win, including cash and items, the rarest and most sought-after is the Formula One-style Progen PR4. The pricetag on this race car is usually $3.5 million in GTA Online money, which is more than even the Krieger car was going for, and it has a top speed of 100.97 mph. The vehicle is based on the real-life 1991 McLaren MP4/6, a classic Formula One vehicle with impressive stats and an impressive racing history.

This vehicle is part of a rotating selection of GTA Online wheel prizes, so it will only be available for a limited time this way.

How to Spin the Wheel

Players will have to enter the Diamond Casino to use the wheel. It's located at the corner of Vinewood Park Drive and Vinewood Boulevard in East Vinewood, Los Santos.

Players can spin the wheel, but they can also rob the casino for the increased heist rewards, play other high stakes games, or even request a helicopter. The Lucky Wheel is in the center of the main lobby. Players can only spin it every 24 hours, giving them a chance to win money, RP, chips, clothing, mystery prizes, or the vehicle. The current vehicle is displayed next to the wheel, so players will be able to see when the current Progen PR4 rotates out and new one becomes available.

How to Get It

While players can technically only spin the wheel once every day (unless the GTA servers are down, of course), a YouTuber named Frolickz has a way around the daily wheel limit.
First, players will have to start an invite-only session on GTA Online. Next, they need to walk into the casino and spin the Lucky Wheel. If they didn't get the car, immediately disconnect the console or PC from the internet and wait for the servers to kick them. After that, reconnect the internet and log in again, continuing to retry spinning the wheel until the vehicle comes up. Many players have stated online that it only takes about ten attempts on average to get that Progen PR4. Since they didn't have to buy the car, players should have enough money to add some of the best vehicle mods in GTA Online.

Apex Legends players who have been keeping up with Season 4 news should know about the return of Kings Canyon. As the in-game map from launch until Season 2, many fans have fond memories of learning to play, mastering different legends, and achieving victory. Kings Canyon is available in all of its original, restored glory until February 24th, and a small easter egg for a popular urban legend also makes its return.
Nessy is a small, in-universe reference to the Loch Ness monster of myth that has appeared consistently throughout the Titanfall series, also developed by Apex Legends studio Respawn Entertainment. After Apex Legends was released, Nessy would find its way into the battle royale in the form of 10 dolls, hidden by the Wattson, that are spread throughout Kings Canyon. With the original map's brief return, players can once again find these dolls to trigger the appearance of a giant Nessy.

Teaming Up

The Nessy dolls must be found and shot in a certain order to summon the real Nessy from the waters. On a side note, the dolls cannot be hit by melee attacks. To accomplish this task, 3-man teams will have to split up individually to cover each corner of the map: northwest, northeast, and south respectively. Each player will have to move and communicate quickly because the constantly constricting border of the map will make some dolls inaccessible with time.

Nessy Doll Locations

Once everyone is in place, the dolls need to be triggered in this order:
  1. Northwest - Northeast of Cascades
  2. South - At the eastern side of Skull Town
  3. Northwest - The western edge of Slum Lakes
  4. Northeast - To the west of Relay and northwest of Bunker
  5. South - In the center of Water Treatment
  6. Northwest - The eastern edge of Runoff
  7. Northeast - East of Wetlands near the coast
  8. Northeast - East of Hydro Dam and southwest of Swamps
  9. Northwest - Southeast of Bunker and far northwest of Market
  10. Northeast - East of Swamps at the coast
On YouTube, user The Gaming Merchant has uploaded a video that details each doll's location and the overall process.

Summoning Nessy

After triggering a doll, there will be a "A Nessy Appears" popup in the upper-right kill feed. Once all ten Nessy dolls are shot, "A Nessy Surfaces!" will appear in the feed and a giant Nessy will spawn in the distance.
Because of the teamwork required and non-cooperation of enemy players, it may take several matches to successfully summon the beast. But in the end, the giant Nessy is a fun reference like Revenant's Naruto easter egg and since Kings' Canyon is leaving non-ranked play soon, anyone that still wants to see Nessy should begin looking.

A new trailer for Outriders confirms that the game will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Square Enix and developer People Can Fly announced Outriders at E3 2019 for a summer 2020 release date, but a delay of the game has also been announced.
In a surprise trailer posted today, it was confirmed that Outriders will be available in holiday 2020 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. This makes the game the second confirmed Xbox Series X launch title after Halo Infinite and the second confirmed PS5 launch title after Godfall.

The trailer doesn't offer any gameplay but People Can Fly says that the game is "a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe." Players will create a character called an Outrider and will adventure across a hostile planet called Enoch. The story is about a "mysterious signal" and it offers various guns to shoot and gear-sets to create.
It sounds like it could offer shooting gameplay like The Division and a story like Anthem with the co-op play of Godfall. People Can Fly also says that the game "offers countless hours of gameplay" suggesting that fans will need to set more than a few evenings aside to fully enjoy it.

Many fans are excited to hear that another PS5 and Xbox Series X game has been announced, but some have also said that they feel tired of looter shooter games. There are so many looter shooters to choose from such as Destiny 2, Borderlands 3, and Warframe. Only two PS5 games have been confirmed and they are both looter shooters, so it's not surprising to see fans ask for more variety.
People Can Fly may be able to get fans feeling a bit more positive about Outriders by releasing a new gameplay trailer. The leaked Godfall gameplay trailer upset many who said that it looked like a PS5 game. If Outriders can really use the PS5 and Xbox Series X hardware to offer something that looks brilliant, it may get a few more people supporting it.
However, this won't stop fans from hoping that there will be a wider range of games available on the consoles at launch. After all, there have been rumors that the PS5 will have a new Ratchet and Clank game. If these games were officially confirmed, fans will be able to smile knowing that it won't just be loot shooters ad infinitum when the PS5 and Xbox Series X launch.

Outriders Trailer Confirms the Game for PS5 and Xbox Series X

It's February 11th and that means Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Season 2 update is live. This new season promises to bring many new changes, including new Battle Pass rewards for players to unlock.
Along with the release of Season 2, Infinity Ward released a trailer teasing the 100 tiers and rewards that players can earn in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. With new weapons, skins, and the addition of the legendary Ghost operator to unlock, fans are sure to be busy all season long.

As in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's previous season, Season 2's Battle Pass will be split into free and premium tiers, with balance-impacting rewards being available in the free tier. That includes the free new functional weapons, the Grau 5.56 assault rifle and the Striker 45 SMG. These will unlock at tiers 15 and 31, respectively. Free tier players can also earn 300 Call of Duty points and a few cosmetics, including calling cards and weapon charms.

Players who purchase the Battle Pass will gain access to the 100 tiers the trailer advertised, along with the chance to earn more than 100 rewards. The main reward most fans are excited about in Season 2 is unquestionably the new legendary operator Simon "Ghost" Riley, even if some fans aren't happy about Ghost's new look. Ghost will be unlocked instantly upon purchase of the Battle Pass, along with a new Operator mission.
Premium Battle Pass players will also get access to all new weapon blueprints, including the PS4-exlcusive Lucky Strike, more all-new Operator skins, and challenge watches. Premium players will also be able to earn up to 1300 Call of Duty points. The Battle Pass Bundle will also grant players 20 Tier skips, which will instantly jump players ahead 20 Tiers. The Season 2 update also brought back the much-anticipated classic map Rust.
The new rewards, Rust, and the return of the popular Gunfight Tournaments and Ruleset Playlist are plenty exciting, but fans are also hyped for the apparent tease of a new battle royale mode. While nothing has been officially announced, the opening cinematic for Season 2 strongly suggests such a mode could be coming to Modern Warfare in the near future.
The popular military shooter is doing very well in terms of sales, as Activision revealed in the financial results of its most recent fiscal quarter that Modern Warfare actually outsold Black Ops 4. Unsurprisingly, Activision is planning on releasing another Call of Duty this year, though it doesn't expect this new one will sell as well as Modern Warfare did.

As North American fans wait patiently for their chance to get hands on Persona 5 Royal next month, more news and trailers are being released for the sequel to Persona 5, Persona 5 Scramble.
Persona 5 Royal will essentially serve as an enhanced version of the original P5, taking the core game and expanding on it with new characters, plotlines, and some spicy Showtime Attacks. Persona 5 Scramble, on the other hand, will be something new entirely. The game is a collaboration between Atlus' dedicated in-house Persona outfit P-studio and Koei Tecmo's Omega Force studio—responsible for the Dynasty Warriors franchise. The result is a sequel to P5 that blends the style and RPG systems of Persona with the hack'n'slash action of the Dynasty Warriors franchise.

This latest trailer has a heavy focus on gameplay footage, showing players what to expect and how the mechanics might differ from Persona 5. In action, the game looks fast and frenetic, replete with Persona 5's comic book pop aesthetic. Originally, this title was going to feel a lot more like a Dynasty Warriors game, but as the project developed it took on a life of its own. Atlus' team wants Scramble to be a fun story, a departure in tone from P5 which is more serious in nature.
The trailer does appear to have some light-hearted elements, while also touching on new boss encounters and new characters—namely Sophie, the mysterious redheaded A.I., revealed in earlier trailers. The trailer also gives fans a look at another of the new characters, Zenkichi Hasegawa, a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police who makes an arrangement with the Phantom Thieves to work with them.

The Persona franchise has steadily increased its fanbase over the years, which has allowed Atlus to experiment with different genres. The series has ventured into rhythm-based games with Persona Dancing series, fighting games with Persona 4 Arena, and dungeon crawling in the Persona Q series. This entry looks to be a little closer aligned to the mainline games of the series, but with a more up-tempo battle system.
With this popularity, Atlus is in a position to port games to different consoles to meet fan demand. Most recently the company released a survey to find out which games Switch owners would like to see on that console. Persona 5 Royal would be a good option, considering Scramble will be making its way to Switch alongside a PS4 version.
While there is still no worldwide release date for Persona 5 Scramble, given the franchise's recent successes, an announcement seems likely to come once Persona 5 Royal reaches the rest of the world on March 31st.

New Persona 5 Scramble Trailer Shows Bosses and Gameplay

Despite having released back in 2016, the asymmetric multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight is still popular to this day. This is largely thanks to regular support from developer Behaviour Interactive, which has continued to release substantial new Dead by Daylight content on a consistent basis. Now the next piece of Dead by Daylight content has been announced in the form of Chapter 15: Chains of Hate, which will introduce a killer, map, survivor, and more when it launches on March 10 for $7.99.
The new Dead by Daylight killer is called The Deathslinger. Wielding a "heavily modified" speargun, The Deathslinger is able to shoot his victims and pull them close. Needless to say, The Deathslinger should make a fittingly creepy addition to the growing Dead by Daylight roster of killers.

Dead by Daylight players that buy the Chapter 15: Chains of Hate DLC on March 10 will also get their hands on a new survivor named Zarina Kassir. According to the developers, Dead by Daylight survivor Kassir is a "daring filmmaker" who specializes in healing other survivors.

As for the new map, Dead by Daylight Chapter 15 will introduce one with a western theme. Called the Dead Dawg Saloon, the new Dead by Daylight map takes place on the "unforgiving frontier" in a location that was once the location of a deadly gang war. The new map, survivor, and killer should be available for all versions of the game on March 10, including the Dead by Daylight Switch version.
It remains to be seen how fans react to the new Dead by Daylight DLC, but various streamers are streaming the new content right now. Unfortunately, Behaviour Interactive has yet to release a trailer that properly showcases The Deathslinger or new survivor Zarina Kassir. Instead all that's available is the Dead by Daylight Chapter 15 teaser that offers little more than the Chains of Hate logo.
Looking ahead, fans can expect Behaviour Interactive to continue supporting Dead by Daylight with new updates. Some of these updates may even include crossover content with existing horror franchises. In the past, we've seen Dead by Daylight feature Halloween DLC, a Stranger Things update, and much more, so it stands to reason that even more iconic horror villains could be on the way for the asymmetric multiplayer horror game.
Dead by Daylight is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with a mobile release also in development.

An exciting new gameplay trailer has been released for Pumpkin Jack. The game looks to have the platforming elements of Jak and Daxter with the horror aesthetic of MediEvil. The trailer showcases aspects of both games with a few unique twists. For those who weren't altogether satisfied with the remaster of MediEvil, this title may tread new ground for fans wanting more.
The game sets the picture of a very ordinary and peaceful world that is disrupted by a Devil who is suffering from tedium. After a wizard restores the original peace, Pumpkin Jack is sent to restore chaos on behalf of the devil. With some help from a number of flying companions, the game sets itself up for an adventure. The last decade saw plenty of great platformers and many will hope this creepy game kicks off the next ten years.

The first gameplay demo shows a variety of enemies and collectables. From skeletons to scarecrows it looks like Jack will have plenty of enemies to battle in a variety of ways. Much like platformers Spyro and Super Mario, there is plenty to collect (namely crow skulls) and there seems to be some replay value in its collectibles. Of course, it is too soon to review the merits of the game, but it is following the conventions of acclaimed predecessors in the genre. With this in mind, it will be interesting to see if the game can hold its own in a market full of quality platformer remakes.

There are plenty of platformer elements that fans will want to see and others that the game will try to avoid, but what will determine the success of the game will be how it innovates the genre. While the demo doesn't showcase anything too groundbreaking, the game likely has a few tricks up its sleeve. Furthermore, fans of MediEvil will be pleased to see a nod to the game as Jack detaches his head (much like Sir Daniel Fortesque) to complete puzzles and progress in the level.
It is always difficult to predict the success of indie games, but the last year saw plenty of great independent titles. There is no doubt that this demo will intrigue players and many will want to experience Pumpkin Jack. However, with plenty of competition, the game will have to provide plenty of unique charm to stand out from other platformers.

Last month, a Pokemon-focused Nintendo Direct gave fans of the franchise a great deal to look forward to indeed. Specifically, it was during the Direct that the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass was revealed, as was Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. Now players can see even more of this forthcoming remake of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, as a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX trailer has recently been released.
The new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX gameplay trailer begins with a question, inquiring about what a player might do if they were to one day wake up as a Pokemon. For fans that have perhaps never considered such a scenario, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX may help them come up with an answer, as the game will give them direct control of an assortment of fan-favorite Pokemon.

This can be seen quite clearly in the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX trailer, which shows Pikachu, Charmander, and many more Pokemon navigating through various locations. While a Pokemon-filled village is among the locations that is shown, it is the game's "ever-changing mystery dungeons" that the trailer focuses on most heavily. Indeed, players that watch the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon trailer will get a decent sense of how it feels to explore and do battle inside of these titular areas.

Furthermore, the trailer highlights exactly how a rescue team is assembled in this forthcoming game, and the process begins with a personality test. After answering a short series of questions, players will find out which Pokemon they are to be transformed into, and they are then free to pick their partner Pokemon. In the new trailer, Charmander serves as the primary Pokemon and Pikachu acts as its partner, but these are far from the only options available in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX.
While this new trailer is fairly similar to the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX announcement trailer from last month, it does contain new footage that some fans will be interested to see. Additionally, players that want to get an even better look at Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX can do exactly that with a playable demo of the game, which is available on Nintendo Switch right now.

The Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2 Battle Pass is finally here and it looks to be filled with agents, game modes and skins. Since the announcement of Fortnite Chapter 2, there has been brewing anticipation for what it would bring. The Battle Pass that accompanies the chapter will excite fans even more as it seems to confirm the appearance of beloved Marvel character Deadpool.
Fortnite has undoubtedly been the most successful Battle Royale game, and this has been because of its accessible nature, the ability to build and of course the fun of being the last team or individual standing. The inclusion of crossover events and skins has increasingly become commonplace in the game and with the success of previous skin placements, it would not be a surprise to see the famous Deadpool come to the title.

The Fortnite Chapter 2 - Season 2 Battle Pass trailer reveals a host of new features and stakes that will be included. Yet the end of the trailer has a heavy-handed, pulled picture of Deadpool. The obvious nature of the image use would suggest that the skin of the character will be available with the new Battle Pass. Crossover marketing has been successful for the game before, with films like Star Wars and Birds of Prey taking advantage of the platform. With this in mind, many will wonder whether a new Deadpool film will be around the corner after this trailer.

The Battle Royale phenomenon has utilized comic book crossovers before to keep fans entertained. Alongside secret agents which have plenty of nods to famous spy films such as the James Bond series, it looks like there will be plenty for fans to explore in the new Battle Pass. There is also the promise of game modes having an impact on the map which will undoubtedly excite existing players. However, most importantly it may encourage new players and gamers who have left the title to get involved.
Fortnite had a huge drop in revenue in January and the inclusion of Deadpool may not suggest a new film, but rather the developers of the game finding new ways to bring players to the title. Why Deadpool is included and how he can be unlocked remains to be seen, but for now, there looks like there is plenty for players to enjoy in Fortnite Chapter 2 and even more fun inside the Battle Pass.

Releasing yesterday, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition for the Switch has already excited a lot of players looking to finally get their hands on the classic demon-hunting action game. As well as including the base title and allowing fans to play it on the go, the Switch edition also comes with some added extras that are exclusive to Nintendo's flagship console. The biggest of these new additions come in the game's Bloody Palace mode, where a massive exclusive feature allows players to enjoy Devil May Cry's signature tournament game type in a way they've never done before.
This feature just so happens to be local co-op, allowing a second player to jump into the Bloody Palace mode as Dante's iconic brother Vergil. Here, both players can slay their way through the game's crushingly difficult tournament mode, adding a whole new layer of enjoyment to an already beloved part of the game.

This new feature is highlighted briefly in the title's recent launch trailer, with Dante and Vergil both being shown in action fighting waves of demonic enemies. The small amount of footage depicts both Vergil and Dante attacking two separate enemies on opposite sides of the map as well as teaming up on a single foe. Evidently the game's signature hack and slash combat system has been made to work with two players in mind, with both characters seemingly able to perform combos when far away and close to each other.

The idea of multiplayer might not seem like a traditional one when considering the hack and slash genre, but it's clearly something Capcom has been considering more and more when it comes to Devil May Cry. Devil May Cry 5 featured a considerable amount of multiplayer elements, allowing random online players to each take the role of one of the game's three protagonists during certain levels. Devil May Cry 3's co-op mode clearly expands on this idea well, and could be a strong multiplayer element if featured more prominently in future games.
Regardless, it's great to see Devil May Cry 3 coming to Switch consoles and providing Nintendo fans with yet another superb classic game to add to their library. It seems every week the console ports a beloved icon from the past to its portable screen, with the likes of Doom 64 and Final Fantasy 12 being some of the more notable recent additions. Hopefully, Switch fans will see even more Devil May Cry come to the console in the near future.

In its weekly blog post developer Bungie gave Destiny 2 fans some highlights from the upcoming balance patch that will accompany next season’s update. Within the patch notes preview were a lot of nerfs (and a handful of buffs), but the one that stood out is a big nerf to sniper rifles.
According to Bungie, Destiny 2 players have grown to rely too heavily on sniper rifles for their long distance utility. Players spent too much time sitting back and picking off enemies from afar and could do so with ease thanks to the damage output of sniper rifles in Season of Dawn.

To curb that use, Bungie will be nerfing Destiny 2 sniper rifles back to their pre-Shadowkeep numbers, which amounts to a 20% damage nerf. On top of that, the precision modifier has been lowered on adaptive sniper rifle frames and rapid fire snipers have had their base damage reduced.
Alongside the overall sniper rifle nerfs, Bungie also targeted one of the most popular DPS weapons in Destiny 2: Izanagi’s Burden. First, the Season 10 update will swap out Izanagi’s Outlaw perk with ‘No Distractions’ to better favor the DPS nature of the weapon. But the bigger change is that the reload stat will no longer affect the speed that Izanagi’s Burden can chamber its Honed Edge bullet.
Without playing the update first-hand, it’s hard to know how these changes will impact the use of sniper rifles in Destiny 2, but content creator Ehroar has provided a video showing just how significant these nerfs are. He breaks down the new damage numbers and DPS of each sniper rifle archetype compared to what they are now, and overall it does not look good.

It may sound like a broken record to talk about Destiny 2 and unnecessary nerfs, but that is also a running theme with Bungie as of late. Weapon types and specific weapons get overused in certain content and Bungie decides that a nerf is necessary. Usually the patch includes some rationale behind the change, but it does little to ease players’ frustrations at seeing some of their favorite weapons nerfed.
Where sniper rifles in Destiny 2 are concerned there is already a debate in the Destiny 2 community as to why the weapon type is favored. Most disagree with Bungie’s assessment and see these nerfs as a way to change up play styles rather than create balance.

Additionally, the trailer shows off Mina's animal companion, Chample – a creature she recovered from the wreckage of her destroyed village. While Chample primarily plays the role of a mascot, seldom joining in on a fight, some players will still be happy to see the cute critter rendered for the latest installment in this popular fighting game franchise.

Mina Majikina will be available to Samurai Shodown players beginning Wednesday, February 26, and she can be purchased for $6. That said, players that are interested in gaining access to even more DLC characters may prefer to simply buy the Samurai Shodown Season Pass 2, which is available for $20 and contains Mina and three other fighters. Sogetsu Kazama and Iroha are two of these three additional characters, and the fourth is unknown at this time.
Furthermore, the release dates for the Season 2 fighters beyond Mina are not currently confirmed, though it is possible that they will be available prior to Samurai Shodown's appearance at EVO 2020. While there is no guarantee that these characters would make a splash at that particular tournament, they could potentially shift the established metagame and create some truly spectacular moments at the event.
