Last month, a Pokemon-focused Nintendo Direct gave fans of the franchise a great deal to look forward to indeed. Specifically, it was during the Direct that the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass was revealed, as was Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. Now players can see even more of this forthcoming remake of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, as a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX trailer has recently been released.
The new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX gameplay trailer begins with a question, inquiring about what a player might do if they were to one day wake up as a Pokemon. For fans that have perhaps never considered such a scenario, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX may help them come up with an answer, as the game will give them direct control of an assortment of fan-favorite Pokemon.
This can be seen quite clearly in the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX trailer, which shows Pikachu, Charmander, and many more Pokemon navigating through various locations. While a Pokemon-filled village is among the locations that is shown, it is the game's "ever-changing mystery dungeons" that the trailer focuses on most heavily. Indeed, players that watch the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon trailer will get a decent sense of how it feels to explore and do battle inside of these titular areas.
Furthermore, the trailer highlights exactly how a rescue team is assembled in this forthcoming game, and the process begins with a personality test. After answering a short series of questions, players will find out which Pokemon they are to be transformed into, and they are then free to pick their partner Pokemon. In the new trailer, Charmander serves as the primary Pokemon and Pikachu acts as its partner, but these are far from the only options available in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX.
While this new trailer is fairly similar to the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX announcement trailer from last month, it does contain new footage that some fans will be interested to see. Additionally, players that want to get an even better look at Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX can do exactly that with a playable demo of the game, which is available on Nintendo Switch right now.
